Lately I’ve been performing the handling for phase 1 of the effect so that the participant always finds the card with the drawing. It’s just too easy not to.

 

Remember you are across from the participant, arms extended, with one face down card in each hand.

 

“Please place each one of your hands over the cards in my hands. On the count of three, you will lift one of your hands.”

 

Lets say she lifts the hand above the drawing card.

 

“Do you know why you lifted that hand?”

Often I’ll get the response, “because that’s the card with the drawing on it?”

but either way I’ll say, “It’s because you sensed the energy on this card and it made your hand lighter”

 

Let’s say she leaves her hand on the drawing card… Need I say more?
